I can understand how uncomfortable ARFID must feel for you, and you are right that it certainly is something one doesn't hear about every day. I myself have only heard it mentioned once or twice briefly in conversations and certainly never thought to relate it to you. I wish I had clued in all those years ago when all you would eat were chicken fingers, french fries, and certain items made by Entenmanns. But ARFID wasn't a "thing" back then. Eating disorders bring with them shame, anxiety, secrecy, frustration, anger, disappointment, isolation and a whole host of other negative baggage. I know this as a person with a different eating disorder, but this isn't about me, it's about YOU.
